rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"San Francisco World Spirits Competition (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/www.sfspiritscomp.com\/results\/\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>San Francisco World Spirits Competition<\/strong><\/a> in February, considered the Grammy&#8217;s of spirits competitions. All five of its entered expressions were awarded with its Ensamble 7 most notably winning the coveted Best Mezcal, beating out more than 70 other brands. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>\u201cThe goal has always been to share my family\u2019s passion and culture through our mezcal. Having our Ensamble 7 which represents the seven sisters of the Carre\u00f1o family win \u201cBest of Class\u201d has just brought so much happiness to our family during these challenging times.\u201d<\/p><cite>Ivan Carre\u00f1o, Co-Owner of Mezcal Carre\u00f1o US<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition to winning Best Mezcal, other awards included two Double Gold Winners (Ensamble 7, Tobal\u00e1), a Gold Winner (Tepeztate) and two Silver medals (Tobasiche, Espad\u00edn). With almost 3,000 different spirits entered into the competition Mezcal&nbsp;Carre\u00f1o&nbsp;represented the only \u201cBest of Class\u201d winner from Arizona.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>\u201cThe community of Arizona has taken us in as one of their own from day one.
