On July 18th, Relentless Beats, LiveNation and The Big Room Group announced the “Hometown Heroes” DJ Competition scheduled to take place Saturday, \u00a0August 11th 2012 at Monarch Theatre in downtown Phoenix.\u00a0A panel of DJ judges will choose contest winners to play at Identity Festival on August 19 at Ashley Homestore Furniture Pavilion. The competition is open to all Arizona residents.<\/p>\n

Now in its second year, Identity festival has been one of the most talked about US festivals in the EDM world since Live Nation\u00a0(one of the world’s leading entertainment and eCommerce company,\u00a0compromised of four market leaders: Ticketmaster, Live Nation Concerts,\u00a0\u00a0Front Line Management Group and Live Nation Network) announced its super star lineup. Eric Prydz, Paul van Dyk, Hardwell, Arty, Bingo Players, Excision and many more artists will take the stage on August 19th in Phoenix.<\/p>\n

Entries will be judged based on mix quality and number of Soundcloud listens. Contest finalists will be announced Tuesday, August 7 \u00a0and will be invited to play for a panel of DJ judges on Saturday, August 11 at Monarch Theatre.<\/p>\n

To enter, DJs must:<\/strong><\/p>\n

1. Record a 30 minute DJ mix that reflects your personal style
\n2. Upload your mix to Soundcloud with the track list and the provided cover art, title, tags, and description (available below).
\n3. Send a link to your mix to\u00a0promo@relentlessbeats.com<\/a>\u00a0with your preferred contact method.
\n4. Share your mix and get listens!<\/p>\n

Mixes must be titled \u201cIdentity Festival presents Hometown Heroes DJ Competition<\/strong>\u201d and tagged \u201cIdentity Festival Phoenix<\/strong>.\u201d Mixes must also have the cover art above, a track list, and the description below:<\/p>\n
