If you thought the Lost Lake Festival<\/a> was just going to be music and food, think again. The three-day festival recently announced its art and lifestyle experience which will be highlighted by Art of the Valley, featuring artwork from top Phoenix artists and local emerging talent and FOUND: The Lost Marketplace, a carefully curated shopping experience offering one-of-a-kind goods from more than 20 regional makers, creators and artisans.<\/p>\n

“Art is one of the main pillars of the festival and is something we are truly passionate about incorporating into all of our events. Artists are an expression of a city’s culture and community, and we wanted to work with local artists to highlight the creativity of the city,” said Rick Farman, co-founder, Superfly. “Part of what drew us to Phoenix and inspired the festival is the thriving art scene happening here.”<\/p>\n

Phoenix-based international artists Fortoul Brothers will headline Art of the Valley by creating custom art pieces that will frame the festival’s three main stages. The group is made up of brothers Gabriel and Isaac Fortoul who are known for their paintings and murals of bold lines and block colors. The duo is influenced by dreams, mystery and evocative symbols. In addition to the brothers’ work, Art of the Valley will also showcase artists live painting murals and custom art installations.<\/p>\n

FOUND: The Lost Marketplace will offer a place to shop local products like clothing, jewelry, organic skincare, Navajo-owned streetwear, original paintings, unique skateboards and more. With more than 20 regional vendors, festival goers will have a variety of options to shop along with the opportunity to take place in workshops with various makers and artisans to learn and create on their own.<\/p>\n

Some vendors that will be on site include Banding Handrix, The Wooden Nickel store, Warbird Press, Apache Skateboards, Crane & Carbon, Keep it Wild, Phoenix Flower Crowns, OxDx, Antique Sugar, Jar of Buttons, Strive Dreams of Body Art, Quick and Deadly, Antoinette Cauley Art and more.<\/p>\n

FOUNDation, a dedicated area to support local non-profit organizations, will help educate and inform festival-goers of their causes. The Mollen Foundation, which is supported by the Fortoul Brothers, teaches local kids about healthy lifestyle and eating choices and will also be selling Fortoul Brother merchandise with all proceeds going towards the organization. Other non-profits featured include Sonoran Prevention Works, Life Under the Wheel, the Arizona Coalition to End Sexual and Domestic Violence, Roosevelt Row CDC, Phoenix Center for the Arts, Phoenix Public Works and many others.<\/p>\n

Along with its art and lifestyle experiences, Lost Lake will also feature a wide variety of food and beverage experiences, larger-than-life games and more than 40 musical acts.<\/p>\n
