Dubbed &#8220;A Superstar DJ&#8221; by the US\u2019s URB and \u201cOne Of The Most Popular DJs On The Global Circuit\u201d by DJ Magazine, Christopher Lawrence is one of the biggest, most respected and popular names in dance music today. Christopher Lawrence is considered a key player in the global dance scene, playing his tough techno trance sets main stage at the world\u2019s biggest festivals and superclubs.<\/p>\n<p>Over the past few years, Christopher has received numerous awards and accolades. Currently ranked one of the World\u2019s Top 100 DJs on the DJ List and previously reaching #4 on DJ Mag\u2019s Top 100, Christopher is a winner of &#8220;Best DJ&#8221; at both the Dancestar US Awards and Los Angeles Music Awards, Christopher has additionally been nominated in Dancestar UK Awards, DJ Awards, International Trance Awards and the Global DJ Mix Awards. Christopher has also topped dance music polls worldwide. He has graced the covers of countless magazines, newspapers and publications worldwide, and is the only DJ to make the cover of America\u2019s DJ Times magazine twice in one year.<\/p>\n<p>Described as the &#8220;Biggest DJ in the USA\u201d by the BBC\u2019s Radio 1, Christopher clocks up over 400,000 frequent flyer miles a year and a list of international events too long to mention. One need look no further than the top international clubs and dance festivals from Creamfields to Global Gathering to find Christopher\u2019s name. Meanwhile, back in North America, Christopher continues to be one of the country\u2019s most sought after DJs, breaking attendance records in cities across the country. A festival favorite, Christopher has played the famed Coachella and Nocturnal festivals more than any other DJ, and was also the only US DJ invited to headline all three of the inaugural Ministry Of Sound, Cream and Gatecrasher tours of America.<\/p>\n<p>Described as &#8220;A Highly Respected Producer&#8221; by Mixmag, Christopher won a preliminary Grammy nomination in 2002. A trance pioneer since the nineties when he signed with Hook Recordings, Christopher\u2019s tracks have been hammered by DJs from Armin van Buuren, Ferry Corsten, Paul van Dyk and Tiesto to Paul Oakenfold. Christopher\u2019s reputation as a producer is superlative with a discography of groundbreaking tracks such as \u2018A Little Rush\u2019, \u2018Lie to Ourselves\u2019, \u2018Freefall\u2019, \u2018Continuation\u2019, \u2018Beyond the Limit\u2019, \u2018Scorcher\u2019, \u2018Shredder\u2019, &#8216;Rush Hour, plus remixes for artists from LMFAO and U2 to Enrique\u00a0<em>Iglesias<\/em>. Beyond the dance world, Christopher\u2019s music has appeared on TV shows from MTV\u2019s \u2018Real World\u2019 to \u2018Hotwheelz\u2019, as well as computer games including \u2018Need for Speed 2\u2019. Christopher also recently signed an exclusive remix deal with Motorola for their forthcoming series of international mobile phones.<\/p>\n<p>Christopher\u2019s debut artist album \u2018All Or Nothing\u2019 and the follow up, \u2018Un-Hooked\u2019 both topped the iTunes dance charts and met with widespread chart and critical acclaim from the world\u2019s toughest critics from Rolling Stone to the Washington Post. Christopher is currently working on his third artist album, due in Fall 2011.<\/p>\n<p>On the label front, Christopher launched Pharmacy Music mid decade with successive hits from artists including John \u201c00\u201d Fleming, Jonathan Allyn, Sean J. Morris and more. The label has become one of the most respected underground dance music labels in the world with support by leading DJs.<\/p>\n<p>On the airwaves, Christopher recently celebrated the three year anniversary of his radio show \u2018Rush Hour\u2019 which has become one of the fastest growing and most popular dance music shows on the planet with syndication on Digitally Imported and 120+ FM stations around the world. \u2018Rush Hour\u2019 is one of the most downloaded and popular dance music podcasts on iTunes.<\/p>\n<p>Other new Christopher Lawrence projects include the launch of two DJ side projects. The first is Fleming &amp; Lawrence, which is the moniker under which long time friend John \u201800\u2019 Fleming and Christopher currently record and tour. Christopher has also launched \u2018Mr &amp; Mrs Smith\u2019, a DJ side project with his wife Sara. The sound is tough electro, a far cry from the main room trance sound that has made Christopher famous and promises to be a new and exciting creative chapter.<\/p>\n<p>Over the past decade, Christopher has also established himself as one of the US&#8217;s biggest selling DJs.
