The Toyota RAV4 is a tremendously popular midsize SUV crossover for a plethora of reasons. In fact, it happens to be Toyota\u2019s top selling SUV in a line-up that is full of great options. Toyota is slowly converting each and every one of these options into Hybrid only, and the RAV4 is no exception. A very exciting addition to the popular RAV4 for 2024, is an all new, Woodland edition. This new model adds just enough off-roading equipment to create a RAV4 that can go further than ever before. Reliable, comfortable, more off-road ready than ever and still boasting an impressive 40 mpg. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

From a visual standpoint, the new Woodland RAV4 looks incredible. If there\u2019s any car color that\u2019s really been building in popularity in recent years, it\u2019s green. Appropriate to the name and objective of the Woodland edition, it comes in a stunning Army Green. Paired with 18\u201d bronze-colored wheels, black high-profile roof rails with crossbars, mudguards, a black grille and other blackened out exterior elements. Don\u2019t forget to factor in the LED projector headlights and fog lights from the 2021 redesign. To summarize, it\u2019s a striking combination that makes for a gorgeous looking RAV4 that clearly communicates its enhanced off-road capabilities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To get into the specifics of what Toyota as done to help with RAV4 Woodland penetrate deeper down the rugged trials of the world, there\u2019s been several improvements to the suspension. The TRD suspension features off-road tuned coil springs, twin-tube shocks featuring internal rebound springs and enhanced bump stops. This provide impressive rebound control and a smoother ride while tackling tougher trials. Combine these enhancements with OEM tires that happen to be the capable, Falcon Wildpeaks, and you get a sense for how serious the Woodland RAV4 is about delivering better performance off-road.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On the inside, it\u2019s familiar territory, with a few differentiators for this special model. The fabric-trimmed seats feature a unique design, the the all-season floor mats have a fun pine-trees carved in. A tall hip point means you can get in and out with ease, and the tall seating position continues to make for great visibility. The steering feel is light, without communicating much feedback. An extremely short turning radius means easy parking and effortless maneuverability though, making the RAV4 feel much smaller than it actually is. There continues to be plenty of head and legroom, no matter where you\u2019re sitting. A Trail mode optimizes the AWD system to maximize control and traction. The RAV4 will even tow up to 1750 lbs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
