Auto enthusiasts, celebrities, racers, families, teen drivers, and many others from around the globe have traveled to Chandler, Arizona, since 1968 for the ultimate experience behind the wheel at the Bondurant High Performance Driving School<\/strong><\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Today, the Bondurant school is as impressive as ever, recently completing a multi-million-dollar track and facility renovation. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

For the first time in three decades, the 1.6-mile road course, designed by legendary racer and Arizonian Bob Bondurant, was pulverized, repaved, graded, and repainted. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Additional enhancements to the school include; a remodeled welcome center and merchandise shop, student classrooms, a new second-story student lounge with a deck that overlooks the track, and an event center that opens up to the track and adjacent car showroom to accommodate both intimate and large-scale events. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Bondurant High Performance Driving School\u2019s enhanced safety precautions keep the facilities and cars sanitized and safe for visitors. Its popular classes include High Performance Driving<\/a>, Teen Defensive Driving<\/a>, Formula 4 Race Car<\/a><\/strong>, and Advanced Road Racing<\/strong><\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

New offerings include drag racing<\/strong><\/a>, including the chance for students to participate in an optional, extended program to earn their 9-second drag license from the NHRA. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Those who successfully achieve their license can compete in NHRA\u2019s 9 second quarter mile category and become members of the Bondurant 9 Second Club, earning exclusive official membership gear and the bragging rights as a member in a club of elite racers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bondurant is the first driving school where students can earn their SCCA road racing license and a coveted NHRA 9 Second drag racing license. The school worked closely with Chuck Sundstrom, a respected NHRA driver, coach, and track operator, to develop this exclusive curriculum. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Following private, one-on-one instruction, each driver runs a minimum of two eighth-mile and quarter-mile passes behind the wheel of a dedicated, race fuel Dodge Demon. Students who complete two passes in under 9.99 seconds or reach a speed of 135 mph twice will earn their NHRA license. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bondurant is the official driving school for Dodge\/\/SRT<\/a>\u00ae high-performance vehicles, featuring the Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat and SRT Demon, Charger SRT Hellcat, and Durango SRT 39. The school is the only purpose-built driver training facility for performance enthusiasts and the largest driver training center of its kind in the world. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The school maintains more than 100 race-prepared vehicles, sedans, SUVs, and open-wheel formula cars. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
