Between the heat, long distances, and a public transportation system that leaves something to be desired, it is safe to assume that Phoenix Arizona residents spend more time in their vehicle than the vast majority of the general, non Phoenix Arizona based population.\u00a0 Americans\u00a0 appreciate fine things, we appreciate craftsmanship and quality engineering.\u00a0 As residents of Phoenix Arizona, this love of quality and craftsmanship naturally spills into our love of quality vehicles.\u00a0 The Bentley Brooklands offers us both of those things, with class to boot.<\/p>\n

This vehicle is a full size luxury auto introduced in 1992 as a replacement for the Bentley Mulsanne and Bentley Eight models. Originally intended as a slightly cheaper alternative to the Bentley Turbo R, features the same styling, underpinnings and the Rolls-Royce 6.75 litre V8 Engine, but without the more powerful model\u2019s turbocharger.<\/p>\n

The Brooklands was replaced by the Bentley Srnage in 1998. At the 2007 Geneva Auto Show, Bentley resurrected the Brooklands nameplate for a two-door, four-seat coup\u00e9 to be built for the 2008 model year.<\/p>\n

A more powerful V-8 and new designation \u201cT\u201d expand Azure lineup for 2010. The classic-looking boulevardier four-seat convert gains new 20-in. wheels and tires, \u201cLe Mans\u201d front fender vents, dark-tint matrix grille, black-face gauges, and large-display audio head unit.<\/p>\n

These Bentleys come hand-assembled, employing traditional coach-building techniques and craftsmanship skills in wood veneer and leather hide. Lifetime production is planned for 550 cars, with deliveries expected to start in the first half of 2008<\/p>\n
