So here we are just days away from a new decade. This one I must say has flown by. It was exactly ten years ago that many of us were hording bottled water, snacks and extra toilet paper just in case all of the rumors about Y2K were actually true. I remember at the time reading about a woman who started collecting generators, bicycles, extra gasoline and all sorts of things that she could barter should the need arise if \u201cthe grid\u201d went down. Of course the grid did not go down and hopefully it won\u2019t\u2026ever! I mean really wouldn\u2019t we rather worry about what dazzling ensemble we are going to wear on New Years Eve and the leave the darling geek squads to figure out how to keep all those other imperative societal necessities going\u2026wink,wink. Of course this is the one day of the year where the stakes are raised just a bit and dressing to the nines is not only suggested it\u2019s expected. What ones wears depends completely on what the evenings plans are so whether you are heading out for a evening of cocktails and dancing, or perhaps a night at home with friends here are a few ideas to shake up your normal fashion routine. <\/p>\n
