So “the season” will be officially on us in just two days and I for one feel utterly unprepared not with gifts, or cards, or what to bring to the potluck Christmas parties but rather with what to wear\u2026. It seems this year I have been so terribly swamped with a massive to do list that I simply have not taken the time to fill the holiday outfit arsenal. The ammo of ensembles is not yet stocked. <\/p>\n

So what goes on my list of additions this party season\u2026.First a new LBD always the cornerstone of any party look. Then there\u2019s the little metallic number which can come in the form of a skirt, jacket, top or pants etc, to round it all out one must have that killer go- to piece whether is a pencil skirt, an amazing pair of heels, or an icing on the cake necklace whatever it is, it\u2019s the piece that makes you feel like a zillion\u2026. whatever your pre-party mood. I am certainly looking for the absolute most easy pieces, that I can throw on in a snap to go from day to night.<\/p>\n

So if like me you have barely had any time to add to your holiday outfit spirit, have no fear\u2026. I am combing the racks as we speak, as you read, as I type\u2026 in any case there are so many darling little things that I just want to get my as of yet un-manicured claws on that I can hardly stand it.<\/p>\n

I am over the moon for this green strapless number by Elizabeth and James. Normally I would shun a color this bright but the details in this dress all work together to keep it from being to girlie girl. Available at www.intermix.com<\/a><\/p>\n
