Back when I started in the skin care biz our focus was on classic methods of touch that were used for healing and cleansing the skin to keep it healthy, today it seems that the skin trade is growing at the speed of sound\u2026 one can barely keep up with all of the advances. <\/span>Even with all the newfangled ingredients, treatments and procedures I still like to err on the side of caution and treat skin kindly after all it is the only one we\u2019ve got!. Lately I notice that most of my clients who partake in major peels elsewhere or who were applying various cocktails of skin sloughing ingredients had far more issues with their skin than the ones who were using gentler products I recommended to treat what ailed them. That\u2019s not to say that you shouldn\u2019t exfoliate, but be sure that you do your research and don\u2019t overdo- meaning if you are looking red or feeling burning, itching, dry, or scaly\u2026 step away from the exfoliator!. <\/span>Recently a whole new crop of anti-aging ingredients and products are making their splash here\u2019s a run down.<\/p>\n
