Really darling just how much shopping can one girl take? Only my bank account knows for sure. This week we had a close call with a masked bandit in the neighborhood\u2026 yes my darling husband foiled a crime spree in the making\u2026 and coincidentally I had just read an article in the New York Times about ANXIETY! Never in all of my days had I had a cartoon that looked devilishly like myself staring back at me\u2026 furrowed brow, crinkled nose and tensed lip\u2026 well if that isn\u2019t enough to snap one back to reality. Apparently we have become a culture vastly beyond the title of \u201cworry wart\u201d. The question raised is it the economy and terrorism that are making us nervous or are we wired that way? Simultaneously I am reading \u201cMy Stroke of Insight\u201d by Jill Bolte Taylor A brain scientist personal journey through a massive stroke\u2026. I can\u2019t seem to decide if it\u2019s wise to read both or if it just makes me more insane\u2026hmmm in the words of Leslie Glass from the 80\u2019s Madonna flick Desperately Seeking Susan \u2013 \u201cTake a Valium like a normal person\u201d Well, since I have never been one to pop anything let alone emotionally altering substances, I must find my escape in something that lasts at least a season\u2026 off the shoulder dress, metallic clutch perhaps? <\/p>\n

For those long sleeve florals and wrap dresses like BCBG\u2019s tribal prints or the 3.1 Phillip Lim ruched boho dress, this is where the over the knee makes the perfect match, the combination of textures lends a sophisticated yet devil may care feeling head to toe.<\/p>\n
