Last night was the 2009 CFDA Fashion Awards and so, another opportunity for a celebrity\/model\/designer fashion post. Here’s a look at some of the lovely and not-s0-lovely looks from last night’s event at the Lincoln Center in New York.<\/p>\n

\"tory_burch_cfda\"<\/p>\n

Designer Tory Burch. Not sure if I’m digging the metallic gold on this dress, it’s a little space-ish for me but it fits her nicely.<\/p>\n

\"rachel_zoe_cfda\"<\/p>\n

I actually really like this whole look on Rachel Zoe. The color is nice and summery, accessories are right on and I really love the draping of the dress.<\/p>\n

\"molly_sims_cfda\"<\/p>\n

Especially after seeing most of the other outfits, I’m not sure I’m crazy about this getup Molly Sims is sporting. A little too much going on. But mostly, as much as I’m usually all about big poofy dresses, I’m not a fan of the Marilyn screen-print on her skirt.<\/p>\n

\"lydia_hearst_cfda\"<\/p>\n

Here is model Lydia Hearst in something else I’m not really a fan of. I like the color and the sheer draping up top but for some reason, I think the crystals and jagged cut on the bottom make it a little Tinkerbell looking.<\/p>\n

\"kirsten_dunst_cfda\"<\/p>\n

Totally loving Kirsten Dunst’s shoes. And that’s about it…<\/p>\n

\"heidi_klum_cfda\"<\/p>\n

\"emanuelle_chriqui\"<\/p>\n

I probably would not have opted for black shoes and accessories with this look, but this dress looks quite hot on Emanuelle Chriqui. It fits her just right, she’s not trying too hard and it’s simple and flirty.<\/p>\n

\"donna_karan_cfda\"<\/p>\n

Designer Donna Karan in a classic black dress.<\/p>\n

\"diane_von_furstenberg_cfda\"<\/p>\n

Designer Diane von Furstenberg in a trendy off-white frock.<\/p>\n

\"diane_kruger_cfda\"<\/p>\n

I like Diane Kruger’s dress, sans the black embellishments on the shoulders of it that is.<\/p>\n

\"claire_danes_cfda\"<\/p>\n

Again, it’s really hard to go wrong with black. Claire Danes looks quite lovely in this.<\/p>\n

\"blake_lively_cfda\"<\/p>\n

Blake Lively looks like an all-American Barbie doll in this hot pink dress. It’s quite refreshing to see her in something that’s not too risque<\/a> or not trying too hard. Good job Blake!<\/p>\n

\"betsy_johnson_cfda\"<\/p>\n

I think this is just the cutest picture of designer Betsey Johnson. She looks the epitome of her line; fun, funky and totally wild.<\/p>\n

\"ashley_olsen_cfda\"<\/p>\n

As I’ve said before<\/a>, you can always count on one (or both) of the Olsens for something to talk about when it comes to their outfits. This shade of orange looks good on Ashley Olsen. But the big shoulder pads do not. And no, I don’t care that they’re making a comeback next fall.<\/p>\n

\"vera__wang_cfda\"<\/p>\n

Designer Vera Wang in a totally crazy outfit I’m digging.<\/p>\n[poll id=”5″]\n

\nMenswear Designer of the Year: \u00a0Italo Zucchelli of Calvin Klein and Scott Sternberg of Band of Outsiders.
\nAccessory Designer of the Year: Proenza Schouler
\nSwarovski Award for Womenswear: Alexander Wang
\nSwarovski Award for Menswear: Tim Hamilton.
\nSwarovski Award for Accessory Design: Justin Giunta for Subversive Jewelry.
\nInternational Award: Marc Jacobs for Louis Vuitton.
\nGeoffrey Beene Lifetime Achievement Award: Anna Sui.
\nEugenia Sheppard Award: Edward Nardoza of Women\u2019s Wear Daily.<\/p>\n
