Carrie Bradshaw fans will now have a handbag to match their sparkling sapphire Manolos.<\/p>\n

The eponymous shoe designer, Manolo Blahnik, is foraying into the world of luxury handbags for the very first time with a bespoke line of evening clutches.<\/p>\n

\"manolo\"<\/a>
\nBlahnik told Vogue<\/a><\/em> that the collection is, in fact, inspired by his signature footwear designs.<\/p>\n

\u201cThese bags are, of course, linked to my shoes,\u201d he said. \u201cThey are inspired by the ornaments I use for some of my classic designs, but bigger and more striking.\u201d<\/p>\n

For instance, the iconic Manolo Blahnik Hangisi pump that\u2019s memorable from \u201cSex and the City\u201d can be seen in the Hangi evening bag with its royal-hued satin decorated with Swarovski bejeweled buckles. Ranging in price from $1,725 to $1,925, other styles include the Laka that Uma Thurman had at Cannes; the oval-shaped Nadi; and the Borla, styled\u00a0in a crystalized rendition of the fleur de lis.<\/p>\n
