<\/p>\nProbably one of my favorite contemporary lines has to be theory. Not because it’s crazy fashion-forward or cutting edge, but just full of classic fits and classic styles that always flatter. Need some perfect slacks? Theory will have you covered. A pristine white button-down blouse? Theory.You can always count on theory for some sleek, clean silhouettes, a comfortable fit and fabulous fabrics.<\/p>\n
The company was founded in 1997 to fill the niche in the fashion world of creating comfortable, reasonably priced looks that were still sleek and modern. Theory’s main focus: fit and fabric which instantly won women over. Theory’s signature “stretch” pant, in fact, developed somewhat of a cult following: every woman had to have their hands on a pair.<\/p>\n
In 1999, the brand launched a men’s line focusing on the same principles as the women’s collection. In 2004, an accessories collection debuted offering an array of shoes and handbags.<\/p>\n
Now theory is indisputably a must-have brand to have hanging in your closet.
