Celebs do a lot more than slip into a beautiful dress with perfect hair and makeup to get ready for the red carpet. Whether it\u2019s the Academy Awards or a movie premiere, celebrity stylists know that their clients will be photographed and scrutinized from every angle.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s a continuous cycle of beauty upkeep, which involves everything from Botox to fillers and lasers before nails are polished and makeup is ever applied.<\/p>\n

Here\u2019s a peak at what it takes to get your fav stars red carpet ready, according to the likes of celebrity makeup artists, nutritionists, dermatologists and more, who have seen it all.<\/p>\n

Pre-Show Prep<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Face
\n<\/strong>Good skin is the base for everything. Dermatologist Amy Wechsler recommends Botox, which takes two weeks to work, as well as fillers, which take one week to settle. Celebs must be mindful to book appointments ahead of time since both treatments can cause bruising.
\nCost: Three areas of Botox plus a couple of syringes of a filler like Restylane: $2,000 to $4,000.<\/em>
\nWechsler also recommends monthly Clear and Brilliant laser treatments to stimulate collagen production to achieve a from-within glow.

Cleansing:<\/strong> Reese Witherspoon and Kerry Washington depend on nutritionist Kimberly Snyder\u2019s 48-hour Red Carpet Slimdown plan before a big event.

Laser Hair Removal: <\/strong>Laser hair removal isn\u2019t just limited to one area of the body, celebs do the face, arms, hands and even the back for those sexy backless gowns.
