When Pantone says a certain color is in, the fashion and design worlds take note. The color authority brand has released its fall 2015 color palette<\/a> that times perfectly with fashion weeks around the world.<\/p>\n

The season is all about androgynous, earthy neutrals in a range of 10 bold color statements and patterns that is as unisex as it is universal.<\/p>\n

\"Screen<\/a><\/p>\n

Desert Sage<\/strong>, a greenish-gray hue, serves as the palette\u2019s base. The cool, soothing color can stand alone as a call to nature\u2019s origins or be combined with other colors and patterns for a complementary ensemble. The color Stormy Weather<\/strong> is just as it sounds \u2013 just like a blue-gray, overcast sky. It is described as \u201cdependable, cool and above all, constant, while Implying quality and luxury.\u201d When the golden-yellow sun finally emerges, it\u2019s the color of Oak Buff<\/strong>, a warm yellow shade that brings comfort and hope. Pantone suggests combining these three colors for a fall-inspired flora and fauna look.<\/p>\n

Next is Dried Herb<\/strong>, a military olive green shade that is inspired by nature\u2019s earthy fragrances. Of course, Pantone\u2019s color of the year<\/a>, Marsala<\/strong>, is a shining star with its robust and earthy red wine color that evokes the warm feeling of a satisfying meal. Meanwhile, the cool and tropical color of Biscay Bay <\/strong>mellows warmer colors out with serenity.<\/p>\n

Keeping in trend with the \u201860s and \u201870s vibes, Cadmium Orange<\/strong> is a contrast that can also stand on its own, while the luxurious Cashmere Rose<\/strong> is a tactile soft pink hue that is the peak of nature\u2019s brightness.<\/p>\n

On the final end of the color spectrum, Reflecting Pond<\/strong> is a contemplative blue that adds dimension and a sense of stability to the other colors. Amethyst Orchid<\/strong> is the jewel of the palette with its vibrantly sensual shade.<\/p>\n
