Lets be honest…everyone is searching for a hairstylist that gets them, and more importantly their hair<\/em>.\u00a0The One knows what haircut you are looking for before you even say it, the color they mix for you is even better than what you had imagined for yourself, and when you leave their chair you feel like the celebrity version of yourself.<\/p>\n

When I went to Pistol’s N’ Polish<\/a> the first time for my haircut and color this is the exact experience I had. \u00a0I originally had set out to get an Ombre ‘do but what I got was beyond what I had imagined. Veronica hand painted and selected pieces of hair so strategically that it looked like I was born with naturally sun kissed locks. \u00a0The effect is what I call the Sombre (sorta ombre), but in the hair world the technique is called balayage…and it is freaking awesome!<\/p>\n

Pistols N’ Polish<\/a> uses two of my fave hair lines, the first\u00a0is Kenra which has the most natural looking color I have ever seen, and for styling they swear by Moroccan Oil hair care products. Not only do they smell divine, but they are incredibly good to your hair which is great because I am trying to grow mine out! I would highly recommend the Kenra Color Maintanence shampoo and conditioner for color treated hair, as well as the deep conditioning mask for some extra TLC during these summer months. It lasts forever because you only need to use it once a week!<\/p>\n

Another one of my favorite features about PNP’s hair care services is that for $10 more you can get their Simply Smooth Demi-permanent smoothing system which is basically a magic hair care potion that\u00a0lasts 3 shampoos. I have naturally curly hair but by using this system I am able to cut my hair routine in half. Bernice the blowout Goddess then shampoos and conditions your hair while giving you the neck massage that will change your life before taking your hair to heights you never knew were possible by seriously pumping up the volume!<\/p>\n

The cherry on the cupcake had to be the personalized hair styling lesson I received from Veronica the owner of PNP. She single handedly corrected my home hair care routine, and showed me how to curl my hair properly to where it actually looks like I walked out of a salon. I have been to many a salon and no one has actually taken the time to show me how to use the products I am forking the cash out for, let alone give me a mini-styling lesson where I actually tried a few curls myself!<\/p>\n
