I love fashion week just as much as the next girl, but, prepare yourselves this may be blasphemous… there is one season I love more\u2014Pre-Fall! Okay, so maybe that wasn\u2019t what you were expecting and it isn\u2019t that blasphemous. For me, Pre-Fall always feels more fun, interesting, and wearable.<\/p>\n

Let\u2019s get right in to some of my favorite collections so far, and there are a lot!<\/p>\n

Thakoon Addition took some of our favorite closet staples and turned them into something new and fresh. Who doesn\u2019t own a pair of sweatpants? Actually I didn\u2019t until about a week ago, but that\u2019s neither here nor there. This \u201csweat\u201d suit is uber chic and I\u2019m sure even Time Gunn would approve of it.<\/p>\n

Almost every woman owns an animal print piece whether a belt, shoes, a dress etc. but these Thakoon Addition jackets are amazing. The shapes are interesting and provide boldness to a print that has become a neutral in its own right.<\/p>\n

\"OscarDeLaRenta_013_1366.450x675\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Some were not convinced of Oscar de la Renta\u2019s collection on Monday, but we all know that in my eyes he can do no wrong. The fact that the man is even still in the game is remarkable.Oscar took the polka dot trend that has swept this past year and made it even more lovable\u2014if that is even possible\u2014with what could better be called varying sized blobs! I love these crazy fancy pants\u2026and the top\u2026the scarf\u2026the earrings\u2026and the shoes.<\/p>\n

Oscar isn\u2019t just recreating trends, but he is certainly on top of his trend game showing several emerald looks. In case you haven\u2019t heard Pantone has declared it the color of 2013. I really love this emerald cardigan\u2014it is oh so Oscar.<\/p>\n

Just when everyone else is loosening up, I feel like Missoni decided to bring on the sophistication: body-con dress, sleek coats, and immaculate fabrics. The colors are also knock-your-socks-off amazing, vivid blues, berries, and yellows. I hope that this is a precursor to more amazingness for the Fall collection.<\/p>\n

Then there are my favorite boys at Proenza Schouler making killer black and white alphabet pants, skirts, and dresses. I mean, you are guaranteed to be the coolest girl in school with these edgy looks.<\/p>\n

If painted on letters aren\u2019t your thing, then you’ll surely fall in love with the Fiji-inspired photo prints in colors that will make you want to set off to the islands tomorrow.<\/p>\n
