No matter how high the res (resolution) on the iPad or the computer monitor get, there is nothing like having a weighty, glossy bundle of fashion at your fingertips. So it warms my heart to hear that <a href=\"http:\/\/net-a-porter.com\" target=\"_blank\">Net-a-Porter<\/a> will be launching their very own print magazine\u2026 and to think people are oh so convinced that my beloved print media will soon be a thing of the past (not just yet). <\/p>\n<p>The e-commerce site, wildly popular among the most fashion savvy women, will launch the fashion magazine sometime within the next 12 months. But we still see it as important,\u201d said Net-a-Porter CEO, Mark Sebba. And of course given Natalie Massenet\u2019s history with WWD there is no doubt that the magazine will be just as big of a hit as her first creation (that is, Net-a-Porter) with its six million monthly visitors and all. &#8220;That is how Net-a-Porter started its life as a magazine that sold clothes.&#8221; via <a href=\"http:\/\/www.wired.co.uk\/news\/archive\/2012-11\/28\/net-a-porter-magazine\" target=\"_blank\">Wired<\/a><\/p>\n<p>I\u2019m sure that along with their amazing editorial content, designer interviews, like their most recent one with Nicholas Kirkwood and Sophia Webster, will only get bigger and better (though I don\u2019t know how much bigger you can really get, right?). <\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/media.arizonafoothillsmagazine.com\/afm-style-files\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/12\/22080825\/7.jpeg\"><img  loading=\"lazy\"  decoding=\"async\"  src=\"https:\/\/media.arizonafoothillsmagazine.com\/afm-style-files\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/12\/22080825\/7-80x57.jpeg\"  alt=\"\"  title=\"7\"  width=\"465\"  height=\"330\"  class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-15470 pk-lqip pk-lazyload\"  data-pk-sizes=\"auto\"  data-ls-sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 465px) 100vw, 465px\"  data-pk-src=\"https:\/\/media.arizonafoothillsmagazine.com\/afm-style-files\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/12\/22080825\/7.jpeg\"  data-pk-srcset=\"https:\/\/media.arizonafoothillsmagazine.com\/afm-style-files\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/12\/22080825\/7.jpeg 465w, https:\/\/media.arizonafoothillsmagazine.com\/afm-style-files\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/12\/22080825\/7-300x213.jpeg 300w, https:\/\/media.arizonafoothillsmagazine.com\/afm-style-files\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/12\/22080825\/7-380x270.jpeg 380w, https:\/\/media.arizonafoothillsmagazine.com\/afm-style-files\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/12\/22080825\/7-80x57.jpeg 80w\" ><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Needless to say, I certainly can\u2019t wait to see what the future mag has in store for us. <\/p>\n<p>Net-a-Porter is not the only fashion retailer who has taken the leap into fashion publishing; one of my favorites is the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.hm.com\/us\/life\" target=\"_blank\">H&#038;M magazine<\/a>. The editorials rival those of Elle and Vogue, but with $29.95 cardigans instead of $3450 coats. Which perhaps is the genius of it all.
