Happy Black Friday! I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving with friends, family and a lot of delicious food. If you are foregoing the long checkout lines today like I am, or whether you are just getting back from the shopping frenzy with fabulous deals in tow, a wonderful way to relax after all the fun is to enjoy a day off around the house, wearing PJs, comfy workout clothes, or whatever your version of cozy is and having an at-home movie marathon. <\/p>\n

Of course, we here at Style Files enjoy nothing more than the most stylish and sartorially pleasing of movies. Here is a list of some of our favorite movies\u2026 grab a bag of popcorn, some dark chocolate, and a cup of joe and enjoy!<\/p>\n

The Devil Wears Prada<\/em> has become the favorite of many a fashionista since 2006 (can you believe it has already been 6 years?). With a cast full of fashionable favorites like Anne Hathaway, Meryl Streep, and Emily Blunt you really can\u2019t go wrong. <\/p>\n

Synopsis: A naive young woman comes to New York and scores a job as the assistant to one of the city’s biggest magazine editors, the ruthless and cynical Miranda Priestly.<\/p>\n

I honestly think that you can watch the Sex And The City movies on mute and still enjoy every fashionable second from glamorous turbans in Abu Dhabi to those sapphire Manolo Blahniks.<\/p>\n

Synopsis: A New York writer on sex and love is finally getting married to her Mr. Big. But her three best girlfriends must console her after one of them inadvertently leads Mr. Big to jilt her.<\/p>\n

Sex and the City 2: While wrestling with the pressures of life, love, and work in Manhattan, Carrie, Miranda, and Charlotte join Samantha for a trip to Abu Dhabi (United Arab Emirates), where Samantha’s ex is filming a new movie. <\/p>\n

Almost Famous gives us a peek at the most fashionable garb from the 1970s a la Kate Hudson. <\/p>\n

Synopsis: A high-school boy is given the chance to write a story for Rolling Stone Magazine about an up-and-coming rock band as he accompanies it on their concert tour.<\/p>\n

For some serious fashion inspiration and an endearing feel good documentary be sure to watch Bill Cunningham New York. There is nothing like watching someone who has dedicated their life to the thing they love. <\/p>\n

Synopsis: For decades, this Schwinn-riding cultural anthropologist has been obsessively and inventively chronicling fashion trends and high society charity soir\u00e9es for the Times Style section in his columns “On the Street” and “Evening Hours.” Documenting uptown fixtures (Wintour, Tom Wolfe, Brooke Astor, David Rockefeller-who all appear in the film out of their love for Bill), downtown eccentrics and everyone in between, Cunningham’s enormous body of work is more reliable than any catwalk as an expression of time, place and individual flair– (C) Zeitgeist films<\/p>\n
