An actual good perfume, not just something a celebrity gets paid to endorse\u2026excuse me, I mean \u201ccreate\u201d. \u00a0Finding a marvelous signature scent that beckons others to say \u201cyou always smell so good\u201d or \u201cI just love your perfume\u201d it\u2019s positively elegant. It\u2019s like a calling card of loveliness wafting through the air. \u00a0But then again, perhaps I am an old school romantic who would rather have one or two crystal decanters on my vanity than ten or twenty.<\/p>\n<p>This month Georgina Chapman and Keren Craig of Marchesa one of the most glamorous fashion labels are launching a new fragrance that is sure to garner as much attention as their red carpet creations.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/media.arizonafoothillsmagazine.com\/afm-style-files\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/08\/22075322\/0910-table-designer-portrait-01-xl.jpeg\"><img d\u2019Extase\u00a0includes a mix of iris, freesia, young violet leaves, jasmine, iris root, ambrox and musk, comes in a bottle so glamorous and so sophisticated it rivals the sparkly details of the duo\u2019s gorgeous accessories \u201cWe looked at our handbags and the signature crystals they have, and we really wanted to incorporate that element,\u201d Chapman told WWD.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/media.arizonafoothillsmagazine.com\/afm-style-files\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/08\/22075323\/Marchesa-Introduce-Fragrance.jpeg\"><img  loading=\"lazy\"  decoding=\"async\" never shy away from confection-like details on their garments \u201cWe didn\u2019t want anything too sweet,\u201d said Craig. \u201cGeorgina and I don\u2019t like perfumes that can smell sort of sickly, so that was very important when we were going through the process.\u201d \u201cEveningwear evokes an emotion, and this scent does the same thing,\u201d said Georgina Chapman to WWD<\/p>\n<p>The perfume comes in three different sizes and retails for $25 to $85, It hits\u00a0Sephora.com on August 24th and lands in Sephora stores in September.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0Also from WWD another new Iconic scent-\u00a0COCO NOIR, Chanel\u2019s new Venice-inspired fragrance, has an \u201canimal sensuality\u201d \u2013 according to Chanel perfumer Christopher Sheldrake.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNoir sits in its own space,\u201d Sheldrake told WWD. \u201cWe are careful not to launch a lot of fragrances \u2013 we choose to create scents that represent an era, not a passing fancy.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/media.arizonafoothillsmagazine.com\/afm-style-files\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/08\/22075326\/Chanel-Coco-Noir-new-perfume-bottle-black.jpg\"><img \u201cCoco\u201d to join the Chanel family after 1984\u2019s Coco and 2001\u2019s Coco Mademoiselle.
