Last night was the first time in Met Gala history that the red carpet was streamed live online. From the reaction on Twitter I’m guessing this was a huge success. As one of thousands who joined in on the #metgala fun, I instantly thought about how great it was going be to be able to write about my favorite looks having not only seen it move, but also the chance to listen to the celebs, models, designers, and fashion people talk about the clothes themselves.\u00a0
\n\u00a0<\/p>\n

This year’s gala launched the\u00a0Schiaparelli and Prada: Impossible Conversations exhibition. \u00a0According The Metropolitan Museum of Art it is inspired by Miguel Covarrubias’s “Impossible Interviews” for\u00a0Vanity Fair\u00a0in the 1930s, the exhibition features orchestrated conversations between these iconic women to suggest new readings of their most innovative work. Iconic ensembles will be presented with videos of simulated conversations between Schiaparelli and Prada directed by Baz Luhrmann, focusing on how both women explore similar themes in their work through very different approaches.<\/p>\n

Emma Stone looked adorable in her red custom Lanvin. The dress was adorned with an array of crystal flowers and was one of the more exciting and fresh looks of the night…We might also be a bit partial to fellow Arizonans.<\/p>\n

January Jones was another celeb that took the chance to wear something bold on the red carpet. This eye popping yellow Versace gown appeared to be sewn right onto her body, the perfect fit made the structure of the dress all the more ah-mazung.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

We cannot not forget the belle<\/del> Queen of the ball, Ms. Anna Wintour, editor in chief of Vogue. She made the night of several Tweeters by wearing a Schiaparelli inspired Prada Lobster dress…. #thedevilwearsprada\u00a0<\/p>\n

Another Mad Men star managed to dazzle on the red carpet. Jessica Pare Wore a gold sequin L’Wren Scott number. The\u00a0cap-sleeve gown brought one word to mind–“appropriate.” She looked sexy, statuesque, sophisticated and chic!\u00a0<\/p>\n

Dear Amy Adams, thank you. She is always lovely but she really pulled out all the stops last night in this black and white haute couture Giambattista Valli gown. And the bow really just sets the whole thing off… Oh and the hair….and makeup….and you get the point.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Gisele and Tom were probably the most beautiful couple of the evening. She in a black beaded Givenchy gown and his Tom Ford attire gave the classic tux some much needed competition. <\/p>\n
