Last year I had the distinct pleasure of spending some time with Susan Nethero The \u201cBra Whisperer\u201d as dubbed by the ever-delightful Carson Kressley.\u00a0 Susan and her husband David brought their beautiful and much needed boutique called Intimacy to Scottsdale over a year ago. If you haven\u2019t heard of it\u2026let me tell you, it\u2019s a must on every level!\u00a0

\nSusan has appeared on Oprah five times, was the bra fitting expert on Carson Kressley\u2019s How to Look Good Naked, she\u2019s also has worked with Tim Gunn on Tim Gunn\u2019s Guide to Style\u2026and she has fit thousands and thousands of women. She can tell you that eighty five percent of women are wearing the wrong bra size and worse yet\u2026this little mistake often leads to bulging back fat, droopy breasts and flattened cleavage.\u00a0Oh my!<\/p>\n

\nIn fact with barely a second glance she pegged me as needing a different size bra right away! As an experienced stylist I can tell you that wearing the right bra will have you looking longer, leaner and more sexy in to time flat\u2026. Not to mention, that wearing the wrong bra can lead to sagging as we age\u2026 and who wants that?\u00a0\u00a0 It\u2019s probably one of the best things that you can do for yourself and the fitting part is free!\u00a0\u00a0 But let me say from experience once you see the difference a good bra makes, you won\u2019t be able to resist taking home a few new ones.

\n\u00a0Here are a few of Susan\u2019s telltale signs taken from Oprah.com that you might need a bra fitting<\/p>\n

If your cups runneth over, it\u2019s time to go up a cup size.<\/p>\n

If your cups dimple, it\u2019s time to go down a cup size.<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

If you have the dreaded back fat, you probably think your bra is too tight, but you\u2019re wrong\u2014your bra is too big. Wearing the bra lower on your back with a smaller band size will completely eliminate the back fat.<\/p>\n

If your strap falls down, that means your bra band is riding up and you probably need to go down a band size.<\/p>\n
