Last Sunday I had the opportunity to attend a Childhelp fashion show in Scottsdale, the adult models showed off lots of floral prints and springtime appropriate apparel. Even the MC, actress Bailee Madison was sporting an adorable flowy, white-tiered dress that seemed to herald the fact that I can now put away my pea coat (well most days at least). Although this got me thinking about springtime fashions it also reminded that we still have a ton of Fall fashion shows happening across the globe, and that sadly Fashion Week(s) will soon come to an end (we here at Style Files also got kind of distracted by the fabulousness that was happening at the Academy Awards). <\/p>\n

Now that I have gone on and on\u2026 let\u2019s take a peek at a few of our favorite Paris collections thus far.<\/p>\n

Balenciaga gave us optical allusion as pants and skirts paired with geometric tops appeared to have peplums but were in fact just varied colors and patterns\u2014one with the garments themselves.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Nicolas Ghesqui\u00e8re also made your favorite printed sweater from the 80s a thing of the future. Hopefully you hung on to them! “We imagined this Balenciaga Inc. company and then we started to identify the functions the staff have and the clothes they would wear \u2014 the space-age sweatshirt girls were the spies infiltrating the company,” said Ghesaui\u00e8re of the inspiration behind the collection. <\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

At Nina Ricci, Peter Copping gave us just about everything: tweed, lace, texture, pattern, embellishment, and a luxurious color palette\u2014all put together to emit a feeling of ease. “It’s about nonchalance and comfort,” Copping said of the fall collection.His inspiration was a little girl playing dress up in her mother\u2019s clothing\u2014sleeves proving too long and the kind of haphazard look of the clothing on the models. <\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

This embellished sweater and skirt was among my favorite looks from the show. The fit is feminine; the fur trim leather gloves are just amazing, and those boots!<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

As much as I love the sweaters at Balenciaga, I definitely want a Faberg\u00e9 inspired sweater from Balmain. <\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Also loving the ornate dresses, suits, and skirts: pearls, floral embroidery, gold thread, and quilting. Olivier Rousteing, much like Blanceiaga, gave us everything we wanted and more; however, Rousteing did manage to pair these \u201cover-the-top\u201d pieces with classics like white button ups and trousers. <\/p>\n
