Okay, I was going to continue with our London Fashion Week coverage, but with the beautiful weather we are having and the fact that it will be a perfect 79 degrees outside today, I can\u2019t help but want to talk about Spring Fashion Trends instead. Please do forgive me, and I promise we will revisit all that London has to offer the rest of the week (or maybe I\u2019ll find some springtime relevance to add today). <\/p>\n

I am an absolute lover of all things nautical; give me Sperry topsiders and an anchor necklace any day of the week. This year however designers abandoned ship and made the ocean their playground. <\/p>\n

The Chanel Spring 2012 was among my favorite aquatic inspired collections: seashells, iridescent sequins, and of course the pearls. Speaking of which, the Chanel spring collection can be found at the Scottsdale Fashion Square Neiman Marcus today and tomorrow (Feb. 22nd 23rd). <\/p>\n

\nThis oceanic trend is easy to incorporate into your spring wardrobe with something as simple as pearl accessories or as extravagant as a dress covered in iridescent sequin paillettes. <\/p>\n

Pleats, yes those things that take you back to your schoolgirl days\u2026 big ones, little ones, short ones, long ones, no matter your preference pleats it is. <\/p>\n

\nWho better to give us these feminine folds than Diane Von Furstenburg with this classic, pleated, white, collar dress and how adorable is this lady like, vivid pink, \u2018Siren\u2019 dress from Kate Spade?<\/p>\n

Color blocking is here to stay and I don\u2019t think anyone is doing it better than BCBG Max Azria (they have actually been doing it for several seasons now). The Bloomingdales website even shows you the versatility of BCBG color blocking by taking this color-blocked maxi dress and putting a sweater over it\u2026 creating three color blocks. You could try this look with all different colors (pink, orange, green). <\/p>\n

Color blocking has even made its way down the soles\u2014these Sam Edelman Sandals are too good to be true and I seriously think I need a pair!<\/p>\n

I know that we have touched on the this trend several times before, but there is just no denying that pants are getting fancier and crazier as the days pass, even Alexander Wang managed to turn a pair of jeans into a graphic spectacle with floral and mesh print. <\/p>\n
