Next week will prove to be an exciting time for car lovers as the Barrett-Jackson Collector Car Auction takes over Westworld of Scottsdale from January 15th to 22nd. You may be wondering why I am talking about a car auction on a style blog, but didn\u2019t you know that where there are beautiful cars there is beautiful fashion? Well now you do! <\/p>\n

This year the car auction will be hosting a myriad of events for the fashionably savvy woman to attend in the Barrett-Jackson Life Style Pavilion. Everything from a Celebrity Martini Mix-Off to \u201cCatwalk-for-a-Cause.\u201d So now that you know where you\u2019ll be next week the only question that remains is, \u201cWhat will you be wearing to Barrett-Jackson?\u201d<\/p>\n

Whether you are accompanying a car-loving male to the auction or hanging out with your girlfriends in the Pavilion you cannot go wrong with colored denim. A brightly hued pair of skinnies can be trendy and casual with your favorite tee or ultra sexy with the right pair of heels. <\/p>\n

Maybe you have the perfect date, so perfect that the two of you will be attending one of the evening VIP events. With high-end spirits and gourmet culinary tastings you\u2019ll want to find the perfect cocktail dress. Of course I\u2019m going to suggest the LBD\u2026 but with some great detail like this Alice & Olivia ruched, frayed chiffon bustier dress. <\/p>\n

As I\u2019ve said many times before, a fashion show is one of the best excuses to wear your most fashionable outfit (you know the one that sits in your closet because it belongs in the pages of a fashion magazine not at the desk in your cubicle). Usually this consists of the combination of a few interesting separates: skirts, jackets, blouses, pants, vests etc. Mix fun shapes, printed bottoms, and opaque tights are always chic\u2026 you\u2019ll look good enough to walk the runway!<\/p>\n
