As I scoured what was left at the toy store and super centers I realized just how close Christmas is and just how late I am\u2026 literally just started my Christmas shopping last night. The really interesting part was that there was a kind of calm in the stores, parents, families, and friends shopping for loved ones and stranger\u2014they appeared to be genuinely enjoying the spirit of the season\u2014no stressful hustle and bustle. Perhaps it is the hard times that our economy has fallen on that has made people realize that the season really is about love, cherishing our friends and family, and being thankful for what we do have. <\/p>\n

Of course this doesn\u2019t take away from gift giving, I mean after all I was in the store with all of these people shopping and isn\u2019t that another way to show how thankful we are for each other? If you too are just starting your Christmas shopping here are some great last minute gifts that don\u2019t necessarily break the bank, but still show the lovely women in your life how much you care (enough to get them something fabulous and designer at that!). <\/p>\n
