I can\u2019t believe that next week is already the Thanksgiving holiday and then of course every shopper\u2019s favorite holiday\u2014Black Friday. What is equally as mind-boggling is that several Pre Fall 2012 collections have already shown. With that in mind and the fact that we covered Spring 2012 shows for an entire month, I kind of forgot about all the fabulous collections and pieces I adored for, well, now. <\/p>\n

Here is a little refresher of some fall trends that have come to us via February\u2019s Fall 2011 RTW runways. <\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>\"\"<\/a>
\nThe Row\/Fluted Point Dress at Anthropologie<\/p>\n

Designing duo Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen declared that yellow is no longer just for summer. The Row\u2019s fall collection showed us that the happy color could also be chic, sophisticated and above all else\u2014luxurious. Pair it with deep purples, neutrals, light blue, or with leopard flats as it is styled here\u2026 you really can\u2019t go wrong. <\/p>\n

\nDKNY\/ French Connection Colorblock Chiffon Dress at Nordstrom<\/p>\n

At the DKNY show, designer Donna Karen used neutrals, orange and pink to continue the oh-so-popular color-blocking trend. Bright pops of color were seen all over the fall runways and have thankfully allowed fashion lovers to avoid the drab all black fall\/winter wardrobes. <\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>\"\"<\/a>
\nBurberry\/Burberry London Epaulet Dress at Nordstrom<\/p>\n

In a similar vain Burberry Prosum said goodbye to the \u201cno white after labor day rule\u201d and gave us knee-length, short sleeved white dresses. Of course I don\u2019t suggest you where your favorite floral, cotton, halter dress to your next holiday party. Stick with wools, chunky knits, and sweater knits in general. Accessories such as scarves, gloves, and fur will add to the cold-weather aesthetic. <\/p>\n

\nMarc Jacobs\/ CATHERINE MALANDRINO at Net-A-Porter<\/p>\n

Pretty blouses with ruffles, bows, ties, full sleeves etc. were seen at several shows including Marc Jacobs, Rachel Zoe, and Miu Miu among others. Seventies inspired and jewel tone blouses were also in plenty. It is fairly rare to see women dress up in blouses these days as the tunic and t shirt have become go-to pieces, making this trend quite refreshing. <\/p>\n

\nMiu Miu\/ SEE BY CHLO\u00c9 at Net-A-Porter<\/p>\n

Trends that traditionally belong to the spring and summer seasons made their way into the fall collections like never before. It culminated in what fashion reviewer\u2019s called the fall\/winter floral. I\u2019m a huge fan of a good floral and usually can\u2019t wait till the weather hits the 75-degree mark so that I can pull out all my favorites. Now I don\u2019t have to wait; I can indulge in cool-weather florals as well.<\/p>\n
