So last night I was talking to a few friends and asked whether or not they were going to dress up for Halloween this year. My inquiry resulted in the usual answers: there are the people who don\u2019t dress up\u2014ever, the ones who go all out and have been planning for months, and the ones who haven’t decided. The conversation then moved to what plans we had for the big day and whether we should all go to a party. Being that Halloween is only a few days away this poses a problem for group a) those that don\u2019t dress up and group b) the ones who haven\u2019t decided yet as neither group has any notion of a costume.<\/p>\n

If you have found yourself to be in one of these two categories, here are some last-minute, easy, and fashionable costumes\u2014inspired by our favorite fashion icons. The best part is that you probably have most of the pieces you need in your closet already\u2026 I think even the no-costume people might be tempted to give these costumes a try.<\/p>\n

Chanel<\/strong>
\n\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Who hasn\u2019t dreamed of stepping into the shoes of one of the most influential fashion icons of all time? I know I have. Of course I will probably never get that chance (in the most literal sense) so dressing up as Coco is surely the next best thing.<\/p>\n

What You\u2019ll Need:
\n1.\t5 or 6 pearl necklaces
\n2.\t2 White enamel cuff bracelets
\n3.\tA long-sleeve black shirt\/sweater
\n4.\tA midi-length black skirt<\/p>\n

For a more authentic look add a black cloche hat and a fake cigarette<\/p>\n

Karl Lagerfeld<\/strong>
\n\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

The fun thing about this costume is that either you or your date can go as this fashion designer extraordinaire. Or you can be Lagerfeld twins\u2014Fendi Lagerfeld & Chanel Lagerfeld. <\/p>\n

What You\u2019ll Need
\n1.\tWhite button-up (remember to button it all the way up)
\n2.\tBlack Tie
\n3.\tBlack Suit Jacket\/Blazer
\n4.\tBlack Pants<\/p>\n

If you want to make sure that no one mistakes you for Tommy Lee Jones in Men in Black, spray your hair white or get a wig, make sure to keep your shades on all night, and buy a pair of black biker gloves!<\/p>\n

Zoe<\/strong>
\n\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Rachel Zoe is undoubtedly the most famous celebrity stylist, turned designer, thanks to her hit show The Rachel Zoe Project on Bravo. Her look is vintage high fashion, but her 1960s & 70s aesthetic is easy to accomplish.<\/p>\n

What You\u2019ll Need<\/p>\n

1.\tFaux fur vest
\n2.\tWide-leg pants
\n3.\tA tie-neck blouse
\n4.\tReally tall platform shoes<\/p>\n

Bring it home with an occasional \u201cBA-NAN-AS\u201d or \u201cI. Die.\u201d<\/p>\n
