This year\u2019s fall runways gave fashion editors, bloggers, buyers, and self-proclaimed fashionistas alike countless dresses, jackets, pants, and even hats to ooh and aah over. Of course whenever designers set out to create a show that will wow the crowds there will be some looks that are more wearable than others. Here is a preview of just a few fall trends that will find their way into your wardrobe with remarkable ease.<\/p>\n

\nMichael Kors\/Prabal Gurung\/Burberry<\/p>\n

Designers had the crowds feeling a little flushed as shades of red, crimson, and scarlet dominated the runways. Prabal Gurung\u2019s full-skirted party dress was among my favorite red pieces this year. It politely shouted sexy and seductive while the model bared one shoulder down the runway. <\/p>\n

This color trend is a great way to vamp-up the usual neutral fall\/winter palette. Throw on a pair of red pumps with your favorite work outfit or if you think Prabal had it right, which I do, a red dress is the perfect go-to look for any holiday party.<\/p>\n

\nStella McCartney\/Lanvin\/Marc Jacobs<\/p>\n

The classic and peppy polka dot made its way back this fall in a big way. Many designers showed head-to-toe looks with polka-dot hats, polka dot dresses, and even polka dot purses. If the head-to-toe look isn\u2019t for you try incorporating this trend with a polka dot blouse or snagging a pair of those fun but grown-up Marc Jacobs tights\u2026 I\u2019ll surely be getting a pair soon!<\/p>\n

\nMarc Jacobs\/Jason Wu\/Lanvin<\/p>\n

Another classic look that had a bit of a makeover this year is lace. The usually pretty and feminine fabric has a new powerful and sophisticated persona. Designers showed dresses with heavy lace overlays and in darker palettes of black, burgundy, and deep blues. <\/p>\n

Jason Wu spoke with Luxist about how he went about reinventing this look, “I found inspiration and ideas from taking something apart and putting it back together,” Wu told Luxist. “And how it is always a little bit different when you put things back together. You always have to be a little bit creative. So I took laces apart, I re-embroidered them on fabrics that have jacquard patterns on them. It was really about working with precious things in a new way.\u201d<\/p>\n

There is no doubt going to be plenty of lace options this fall. If you are really excited about this trend try pairing a black lace skirt with a jewel tone, lace embroidered blouse.<\/p>\n

\nPrabal Gurung\/Thakoon\/DKNY<\/p>\n

Now for a trend that started in spring but has continued to make a splash\u2014 bright colored pants. Saturated hues of pink, blue, yellow, and green were seen in every shape and silhouette. If you haven\u2019t gotten a pair of these pants yet, it\u2019s not too late. Pair them with neutral colors or have fun with bright blouses, shoes, and accessories. <\/p>\n
