High Street at CityCenter of CityNorth

Have you stopped by CityCenter at CityNorth yet? If not, be sure to get down there this week. The upcoming shopping, dining and business destination located at 56th street and Deer Valley just unveiled its High Street at CityCenter of CityNorth shops and restaurants last month.

Phase one of the rollout in the 144-acre mixed-use CityNorth development includes retailers like Bebe, Alessi, Apricot Lane, D&G Designs, Guess, White House Black Market and Zuva Gallery at High Street at CityCenter of CityNorth, to name a few.

And that’s just the beginning. High Street currently has 29 retailers/restaurants open with much more to come.

Phase two of the CityCenter at CityNorth project, which is scheduled to open in the fall of 2010, brings Arizona’s very first Bloomingdale’s (hooray!), Nordstrom’s and several other retail and restaurant destinations.

“The progress of CityCenter at CityNorth has been amazing, from the transformation of a once-vacant parcel of Desert Ridge land to a dynamic mixed-use development that will be an economic engine for Phoenix,” said City of Phoenix Mayor Phil Gordon.

This upcoming development is definitely one to watch, and with such vibrant retailers and restauters getting involved, there’s really no reason to not stop by now and get a glimpse of all the action.

CityCenter of CityNorth is also committed to green building and is incorporating the standards to meet LEED certification(Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design, the national benchmark for the design, construction and operation of green buildings).

“CityCenter of CityNorth will be a dynamic urban core for the Northeast Valley, and is a model for the city’s mission to encourage sustainable growth and devlopment,” said Phoenix Vice Mayor Peggy Neely. “The committment to building CityCenter of CityNorth to LEED standards has regional significance, not only for the Northeast Valley, but also for the entire Phoenix metropolitan area.”
