Since the evolution of “personalized” weddings, brides have been creating new ways to doll up their big day in the most creative way. DIY (Do It Yourself) weddings emerged and brides of all crafts and trades were making their weddings one-of-a-kind with several trips to local craft stores.
Here at Some Like It Classic – Wedding & Event Design we always are trying to find stylish, creative, and budget friendly ideas to doll up our client weddings. One of the easiest and most personalized ways is through wedding signs.
Signage doesn’t have to be expensive. It can be custom printed by the same person doing your wedding invitations or even printed from your home computer and placed in a gorgeous frame or folded in a table tent. Other customized ways include calligraphy signs, hand painted or chalk signs, or even vinyl sticker signs placed on such things like acrylic chairs or hanging mirrors.
Personalized wedding signs are great for places that are directional (showing your guests where to walk to your ceremony, cocktail, reception), your gift table – “Envelopes”, your cocktail hour bar – such as a signature cocktail, your candy or dessert bars, special love quotes set around the reception, menus or thank you love notes found on your charger plate, on your sweetheart table or attached to your chairs. Even a cute sign in the toiletry basket in the restroom – if feels right… then put a sign on it!
