Wine Nights for Vino Lovers

Sometimes after a long day or week at the office all you want to do is have a glass of smooth and flavorsome wine with a few of your closest friends. This doesn’t mean you need to spend the night at home. Throughout the month of April, the Valley is featuring some amazing wine tasting soirees that are sure to satisfy your soon to be red palette and come from all parts of the world. Take a look…

Romancing the Vine

Arcadia Fine Wine in Scottsdale is putting on a “Romancing the Vine” series that will give guests the opportunity to try wines from many exotic countries, including Italy, Spain, South American and Australia. The nights are set as an intimate tasting soiree of just 25-people so guests can ask questions and learn more about the internationally featured wines. The wines will also be paired with delicious cheese, breads and juicy meats. Plus proceeds from the tasting event goes to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.

Wine Tasting Schedule:

April 8: Wine from Italy. Cuisine pairings include Parmigiano-Reggiano, olive oil and bread, spaghetti and meatballs.

April 15: Wine from Spain. Cuisine pairings include Manchego fresh and Manchego aged and sautéed shrimp in garlic cumin butter.

April 22: Wine from South America. Cuisine pairings include goat cheese with dried fruit and beef tenderloin on rosemary sticks.

April 29: Wine from Australia. Cuisine pairings include Australian cheese and rack of lamb in a rosemary mustard crust.

On April 25, Phoenix Art Museum’s Men’s Arts Council invites you to sample more than 70 international premium wines along with delicious cuisine pairings from Arcadia Farms. Guests can also bid on original art pieces, large wine formats and more at the evening’s featured silent auction.

  3. great events. i would also love to one day see a list of wine deals at restaurants – i know lots of places have different night when they have half off bottles – i just always forget whcih nights those are!

  4. Uncorked Wine Bar has a daily list of deals by the glass and by the bottle– Opportunity List Bottles range from $19 to $30 every day! Great with the economy as it is! They also are having a 20 wines for $20 tasting on August 1st from 2pm to 5:30 pm! What a great opportunity to find some great wines and buy them for retail from $9.99 to $34.99 a bottle!!!
