Bringing the beach to the desert for the past five years, Sandbar is celebrating its birthday this Friday night with margarita specials, music, flair and of course, in total island-style!
While paradise-like destinations enable us to get away from out daily lives, Sandbar has provided Arizonans an escape to the islands each night of the week if they so choose. And to give thanks to all guests and fans who have “staycationed” at Sandbar over the years, Sandbar is not only creating a happening fiesta this Friday to celebrate, but is also offering tempting drink specials and live entertainment!
Arrive before 10 p.m. and receive a Signature Sandbar Margarita made with top shelf Sauza Gold Tequila for only a penny. Additionally, Sandbar will be offering penny Dos Equis between 9 and 10:30 p.m., along with $5 “Sandbarita Cadillac Margs” throughout the entire night!
While you sip your cool islander cocktail, take a look at the elevated water stage because starting at 10 p.m., local 80’s cover group Hair Raid and beach grooves from the steel drum band, Island Magic will perform and hopefully bring everyone on the dance floor.

Whether it’s Cinco de Mayo or just another Friday night, Sandbar’s patio is a Valley favorite. It’s hard not to love the tropical thatch and tin roofs that cover the bar and brightly colored lounge chairs. Feels like summer in Baja!
Sandbar now has three locations in Arizona. Its most recent addition opened in Chandler, while another location is set in Peoria.
