If the highlight of your weekend consists of meeting up with friends for a good meal or happy hour, why hold out until the end of the day? Tapino Kitchen & Wine Bar have embraced the idea of daytime wining and dining with their newly inexpensive wine and food menus, in place Saturday and Sunday, noon to 5 pm. Menu selections include $20 bottles of red or white wine, $20 pitchers of sangria or mimosas as well as a wide selections of snacks and appetizers, ranging from the $5 Manchego Riserva (artisan sheep’s milk) to the $9 Crispy Sweet Shrimp with Horseradish Marmalade.

If you’d rather stick to tradition and sip your wine after the sun goes down, get a bit creative with Tapino’s Thursday Night Flight School Classes. You will receive four pairs of wine with cheese for a mere $15 and discover all the basics of a good wine.
