All-New Santa Monica Place Opens

If you’re a fan (or devotee) of our fashionable and prominent Scottsdale Fashion Square, then you’re sure going to love the creators’ latest conception in shopping capital Santa Monica, California. From the makers of local SFS, which seems to grow by the month, comes Santa Monica Place!

Located between Third Street Promenade and the Santa Monica Pier, the new shopping destination opened last week with quite a showing. As you can see, LA dwellers were more than excited for a new shopping and entertainment plaza. Santa Monica Place offers a tri-concept allowing “original thinkers and doers” to shop, savor and socialize—what LA “Valley girls” do best!

SHOP

Even the most famed and luxurious brands want a part of Santa Monica Place’s action. A brand new Bloomingdale’s has been custom designed for SMP, which will neighbor a fresh new Nordstrom. Other notable retailers include: Barneys, 7 For All Mankind, a Disney Store, Juicy Couture, Hugo Boss, Louis Vuitton, Michael Kors, Nike, Tory Burch, Ted Baker, True Religion, and more.

SAVOR

There’s something special and for everyone at Santa Monica’s dining quarter- where Visionary restaurants shaped by renowned chefs, diverse fast-casual eateries and the one-of-a-kind, artisanal Market line the third-level foodie-heaven known as the Dining Deck.

The Deck is maybe the best part of Santa Monica Place’s conception as it brings the airy, outdoor ocean breeze to new heights. Literally. Guests can meet for happy hour, sunset dining, and  mid-day lunch hours—all while enjoying the outdoor and perfect So-Cal weather. It’s truly the ideal dining setting!

Noteworthy eateries that have set up shop at SMP include:

  • La Sandia: The upscale, modern Mexican concept from chef Richard Sandoval derives its bright flavors from “old ways, new hands.”
  • Ozumo: A San Francisco favorite now also embraces Santa Monica! Ozumo dishes out contemporary Japanese fare in a casually elegant setting.
  • Xino: This striking space offers a sophisticated, new take on classic Chinese cuisine, created by celebrated chef Chris Yeo.
  • Zengo: Hip, fun and vibrant — all perfect descriptors for Zengo’s eclectic vibe, and its mix of fresh Asian and Latin flavors.

SOCIALIZE

With a great space for new fun and beginnings, comes special events! Locals and visitors can listen to live music while dining under the stars, pursue the season’s hottest sales with friends, or even enjoy tasty cocktails amidst the Santa Monica sunset during happy hour.

Never a dull moment at this spot!
