“Star Wars” fan girls have something to celebrate. CoverGirl recently announced they are bringing a new “Star Wars”-themed makeup line, part of a partnership with the promotion for the upcoming release of “Star Wars: The Force Awakens.” This futuristic line is receiving praise from both “Star Wars” fans and fashionistas.
The line includes six beauty looks, designed by makeup artist Pat McGrath. The collection will feature 19 products, from gold C-3PO-inspired lipstick to Stormtrooper silver lipstick.
There will also be limited edition nail polishes and mascaras featuring “Star Wars” quotes; some of which say “I will finish what you started,” “You will meet your destiny” and “Immune to the light.”
We are still waiting to see four of the looks, but two of the looks were released Thursday.
The first look (seen below) was inspired by a droid.
The second edgy look (seen below) is inspired by a StormTrooper.
The out-of-this-world line will launch on September 9. The looks might be from another galaxy, but clearly “Star Wars” makeup artists were onto something!
