Best Christmas Albums of 2010

Christmas season is the only time when we can shop every day with no shame, wear ugly sweaters to parties without being laughed at (in a bad way) and listen to new and old Christmas songs as much as we want. Every year, artists compete for the number one Christmas album and this year, there are a few new ones that are causing quite a frenzy on Apple iTunes. All I want for Christmas… are these amazing CDs:

Glee: The Music, The Christmas Album
If you love the show Glee, you will go crazy for its new holiday album! The album, which is topping the Christmas charts on iTunes, features holiday classics sung by Glee cast members like: “Baby, It’s Cold Outside,” “Last Christmas,” “O Holy Night,” “The Most Wonderful Day of the Year,” “Jingle Bells” and more. It’s Glee-tastic!

Mariah Carey: Merry Christmas II You
“All I Want for Christmas Is You” is the number one holiday song every year, and a personal favorite of mine. Mariah has come out with an all-new CD featuring more holiday favorites sung by the diva herself. The new album features songs like “Oh Santa,” “Santa Clause is Coming to Town,” “The First Noel, Born is the King,” “Oh Come All Ye Faithful,” and an extra festive version of the favorite“All I Want for Christmas Is You”!

NOW (That’s What I Call Christmas), Vol. 4
For a more versatile compilation of Christmas tunes from superstar artists from yesterday and today, purchase the new NOW. Artists like Rihanna (“A Child Is Born”), Sheryl Crow (“Merry Christmas Baby”), Christina Aguilera (“Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas”), Colbie Caillat (“Misletoe”) and Britney Spears (“My Only Wish”) have joined forces to make a hit this holiday season.

Pink Martini: Joy to the World
The swanky band gets in the holiday spirit by creating and unpredictable Christmas album! Listen to songs like “White Christmas,” “Santa Baby,” “Little Drummer Boy,” “Do You Hear What I Hear,” “Silent Night” and more!

Jessica Simpson: Happy Christmas
The recently engaged pop star is definitely having a happy Christmas. So it seems very appropriate that she cuts her second holiday album, which critics say is better than her first holiday album “Rejoice.” Happy Christmas features songs like “My Only Wish,” “Carol of the Bells,” “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas,” “Merry Christmas Baby” “Happy Xmas (War is Over),” and more.
