New Phoenix “Green” Shop Opens with Free Yoga, Jazz and Workshops

Phoenix will soon welcome a new eco-friendly one-stop shop featuring fabulous “green” items for the home and body. And to celebrate the new addition, Central Slope will host a grand opening event this weekend, January 30-31, featuring free morning yoga classes, workshops on how to make easy “green” transitions in your life and a swanky jazz reception in the evening!

Central Slope, located near Central Avenue and Dunlap in the emerging Sunnyslope “Eco” disctrict, specializes in herbal teas and reclaimed/recycled textiles for the home. The two owners are committed eco-activists; Michael Keele (lead designer/founder of eco-friendly shop Keeleco) and Amy Lilie, ND (licensed naturopathic physician). Keele and Lilie’s goal is to influence consumers and manufacturers to use sustainable, “green” products for both the home and our bodies.
