Scottsdale Charros Second Annual Spring Training Festival

Each spring, visitors from across the country flock to the Valley to see the best in baseball train under the warm Arizona sun. To kickoff 2013 Cactus League Spring Training, the Scottsdale Charros is hosting it second annual Spring Training Festival in the heart of downtown Scottsdale’s Civic Center Mall.

The volunteer-based group of business and civic leaders will host family-friendly entertainment, including Mad Science of Baseball interactive exploratorium exhibits, live music, entertainment, merchandise, rare memorabilia and tons of tasty eats in Yelp’s Kitchen Stadium- where a roundup of local restaurants put their signature twist on America’s favorite baseball stadium food fare.  In addition, hall of fame greats from Cactus League teams will be on hand to take photos and sign autographs for fans!

New to the festival this year is the exclusive Maya Beach Club VIP Dugout that will host a day-life party with DJ E-Rock. The Dugout is a sneak peek of what to expect from the highly anticipated Maya Day & Night Club- Triyar Entertainment’s newest 20,000-square-foot beach club set to open in Spring 2013 in Scottsdale.

Zip straight to the front of the line at the after-party at W Scottsdale with VIP wristbands obtained from the Maya Beach Club VIP Dugout. Party goers are invited to enjoy a night of fashion and baseball while models walk the runway on the rooftop WET Deck wearing designs by L.A based designers presenting their newest lines of menswear, swimsuits, and high-end women’s couture. One hundred poolside seats are available for purchase at $50 each with profits benefiting the Charro Foundation. Admittance is free. 

When: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Saturday, February 16 and noon to 5 p.m., Sunday, February 17

Cost: $5. Food and beverage tickets are $2. Admission to the Maya Beach Club VIP Dugout is $20 with cabanas available for reservation at $1,000.
