It’s interesting that a lot of the NBA All-Star parties weren’t confirmed until the last week or so. This really is the “second super bowl.” I will for sure be at the Phoenix Block Party. I know TNT and NBA TV are setting up their studios for the block party. AND also confirmed is TNT will be sponsoring a H-O-R-S-E style play between Kevin Durant, OJ Mayo and former Sun Joe Johnson. That’s Saturday and unfortunately other obligations render me from going to check that out. But that would be awesome. Something unusual. Also, it would be cool if several players broke out and started one-on-one games. The only unfortunate part about this is that tickets are outrageous for general admission. VIP is the way to go and that price is two times outrageous. Also, when I think of basketball, I think of Jim Jones. Ballllinnnnn. Yep, we fly high.
Also, here’s hoping that Brandon Roy takes home the All-Star MVP. Not that the All-Star MVP means much but it’s time America sees the real deal. B-ROY!
One more thing. It is interesting that Special K, a cereal from Kelloggs, is sponsoring/hosting a party with Snoop Dogg considering their latest withdrawal with Michael Phelps….

Also, I believe that it’s $50 for admission to the Sugar Daddies party hosted by Ludacris. $50 for Sugar Daddies?? Yikes. I’m sure it’s happenin but still…
And for those who like the celeb and athlete sightings, you’ll usually run into celebs and/or athletes at clubs like Axis throughout the year without the increased covers. I can not wait for the Slam Dunk contest Saturday, the block party Sunday!! Fitting that the Slam Dunk contest is on Valentine’s Day because basketball is my love 🙂
