Throughout this week, nationally renowned mixologists are partnering up with some of Arizona’s best home-grown talent to provide educational seminars, interactive tastings, cocktail competitions, pool parties, pig roasts and more statewide at Arizona Cocktail Week.

Here are some upcoming events you won’t want to miss:

Monday, Feb. 18: Last Slinger Standing
Arizona’s best 16 bartenders battle it out for bragging rights and supremacy at this statewide competition. Judges will consider speed, aesthetics and taste at this bar brawl as emcees Ross Simon, the co-organizer, and Marcos Tello keep the crowd informed and laughing.

Tuesday, Feb 19: In conversation with Philip Greene, author of “To Have and Have Another: A Hemingway Cocktail Companion”
This night with Ernest Hemingway enthusiast Greene offers insights into the famed author’s drinking habits, his colorful history and recipes for drinks connected to his novels. Cocktail reception, appetizers and book included in ticket price.

Wednesday, Feb. 20: Balvenie and Glenfiddich Masters of Scotch Party
