If there’s one thing to be excited about over Spring Training Season, it’s watching the new World Series Champions, the San Francisco Giants, play at the Scottsdale Stadium. And to celebrate, Scottsdale’s hip and happening hotel, the W Scottsdale, is putting on a “Giant” Spring Training Soiree and Fashionable Fete this Thursday, Feb. 24!
From 9 p.m. to “late”, Giants fans can head to the W Scottsdale’s Shade Lounge to see fashions by Guess and Guess by Marciano, enjoy a live musical performance by national recording artist Kelley James, along with a very exciting special MLB guest appearance! So don’t forget to bring your cams, pens and papers to this celebratory event for the San Francisco Giants coming to Scottsdale!

- You can now get a taste of the Bay as the Scottsdale Stadium will be serving beer from Anchor Brewing Co. This SF favorite has been brewing suds in the Bay since 1896. Don’t forget to add garlic fries to that order to feel like a real SF local and Giants fan!
- Parking is going to get a little tricky at the Scottsdale Stadium this year as space is limited. But to make it an even more Bay area experience, park in downtown Scottsdale and take the trolley! Just park at Loloma Station at Fashion Square Mall (next to Nordstrom), or along Fifth Avenue. It will land you right at the stadium’s Gate E.
- Scottsdale Stadium partners with the Scottsdale Charros, which raises funds by selling tickets to the Charro Lodge, the stadium’s VIP section. Although the tickets are $100-$125, the Charros donate more than $1 million a year to East Valley Charities. So think twice about going VIP!
