Traveling with teens can be tough, but look no further than the JW Marriott Starr Pass Resort and Spa in Tucson for answers on how to convince those kids who may be a little harder to talk into vacationing with the family!

Last spring, Tucson’s JW Marriott Starr Pass Resort added a fun and relaxing getaway for teens to experience while traveling with family. The Blur Teen Lounge has everything a teenager could want away from home.

New Apple iPads to check Facebook and surf the internet, an Xbox 360 and Playstation 3, huge LCD HDTVs, a movie area and comfortable lounge areas make up the teen space. Aside from gaming, a DVD library is supplied for movie lovers.

The Blur Teen Lounge is intended for those between the ages of 12 and 18, and for just $25 per day per person, they can have a getaway themselves to do the things they like to do, and still enjoy the perks of being on a family vacation.

There are even Saturday night specials, “poptail hour,” and movie and gaming challenges from 6 to 10 p.m. (These events have different pricing than normal Blur Teen Lounge fees.)

To accompany Blur Teen Lounge, the resort offers a family fun package with daily meal credits, golf or spa credits, as well as credits towards the teen lounge and the lounge for younger kids, Rising Starr Kids’ Club.

JW Marriott Starr Resort and Spa has made family vacations more fun and more inclusive for everyone, so book your stay in Tucson to get the entire family experience.
