The Westward Look Wyndham Grand Resort & Spa is offering a variety of specials and packages for New Year’s Eve guests. The resort, the spa, and the award-winning GOLD restaurant located on the property are gearing up for a celebration bash unlike any other.
The New Year’s Eve Premium Package features dinner for two at GOLD (not including tax and gratuity on dinner), entrance to Sonoran Ballroom dancing, Champagne and Truffles upon arrival, breakfast for two on January 1, a Junior Suite Room with either a scenic view or desert view, and no resort fee. At $399 per night, the package makes for a romantic and fun way to ring in the New Year.
The New Year’s Eve Premium Package with Spa costs $439 per night and includes dinner for two at GOLD, entrance to Sonoran Ballroom dancing, two 45-minute spa treatments, a Junior Suite with either a Scenic or Desert view, and no resort fee. The spa package offers all the enticing deals of the premium package, but with a little relaxation.
The New Year’s Eve Dinner and Dancing package includes dinner for two at GOLD, dancing at the Sonoran Ballroom, and no resort fee. Guests using this package can choose from a Junior Suite Room at $309 per night or a Posada room at $299 per night.
GOLD will be offering guests a gourmet, four-course dinner from 6:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. on New Year’s Eve. The meal starts with a choice of Lobster Bisque or French Onion Soup. Second, guests will be served Applewood Smoked Mountain Trout, House Salad, or Chilled Blue Crab Martini. A third course includes Sliced Roasted Tenderloin of Beef, Lobster Vol au Vent, Winter Vegetable Garden Phyllo Bundle, Roasted Rack of Lamb, or Pan Seared Pacific Grouper Fillet. The delicious meal will finish of with a choice of dessert: White Chocolate Bomb, Individual Baked Alaska, or Crème Brûlée. Those who choose to participate only in dinner will pay $85 per person for the prix fixe menu.
Those who join Westward Look for dinner or for a stay will also receive a wristband for entry to the Sonoran Ballroom for New Year’s Eve festivities, a Champagne toast at midnight, and party favors. The band, East2West, will perform classic rock and blues as guests dance the night, and the year, away from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m.
Not a fan of dancing or fancy dining? Westward Look’s Lookout Bar and Grille will be open from 2 p.m. to midnight. A more casual menu will be available until 10 p.m., and reservations are required.
