Prohibition-era and sports-themed bar and restaurant Wasted Grain is set to open mid-October in downtown Tucson on 350 Congress St.

A Square One Concepts, Inc. restaurant, the establishment offers 30 different beers on draught, signature cocktails, a live DJ every weekend, and an arcade hearkening back to old school games like Big Buck Hunter. Guests can order classic bar fare like flatbread pizzas, wraps, and sliders, including vegan and gluten-free menu items as well.

Replacing the former location of World of Beer on historic Congress Street, Wasted Grain will up the antics in the downtown Tucson area, says Alecia Sanchez, director of marketing and events for Square One Concepts. “We will bring the same high energy feel to Tucson that wasted Grain Scottsdale (pictured) and Tempe bring.” In addition to the regular Monday through Friday happy hour from 3 to 6 p.m., there is also a special late-night menu offered seven days a week.

Square One Concepts is the team behind Valley hotspots Cold Beers & Cheeseburgers, Crab & Mermaid and the newly opened Bourbon & Bones.
