UApresents has just announced its lineup for the upcoming 2010-11 season and there are some very exciting, first-time performers and productions making their way to Tucson this year!

The long-time vocalist and actress Liza Minnelli is set to perform at the UA Centennial Hall on Dec. 4. This highlight to UApresents’ program will mark Minnelli’s first-ever appearance in the great city of Tucson. The vocalist was set to perform back in 1972 at Tucson Music Hall but cancelled just days before her show.

The evening will feature “beloved American standards performed in their purest, most intimate form” with Liza, her long-time accompanist, Billy Stritch and a quartet.
