Coming in November, Sanctuary introduces a new Artist in Residence program featuring the work of gifted Santa Fe sculptor Michael Peralta.

Along with enjoying a dinner and gallery presentation in his honor, guests can stay for the weekend and learn from the artist personally during a hands-on sculpting demonstration.

The evening offers an opportunity for local art lovers to discover Peralta’s work -- which is currently featured in Taos and Santa Fe galleries as well as others in the Midwest. This will be held at Praying Monk, which features spectacular views of Paradise Valley lighting up for the night.

Enjoy a memorable getaway, from the Friday evening reception where Native American hoop dancers set the stage for a Southwestern-themed weekend, through Sunday’s two-hour sculpting demo by the artist with our Artist in Residence package* including:

Other Works of Art

Sanctuary is constantly changing the art on display throughout the resort, which may be viewed at the main entrance and elements restaurant as well as in the spa courtyard, meeting areas, guest casitas, and men’s and women’s spa areas.

Works of art chosen to enhance the natural setting and Asian-inspired architecture are presented in an innovative “Art Partnership” with the Calvin Charles Gallery of Scottsdale, enabling guests who fall in love with a particular work to purchase it for enjoying at home.
