To my readers and friends who’ve been asking where the next Lou Malnati's Pizzeria will be - I can now tell you- Scottsdale will be getting - A- pizza -da - pie! The Chicago -style deep dish pie, that is!

Yes, on the heels of Malanti’s plans to open a carry-out service in the Arcadia area of Phoenix - comes their next big news from owner Marc Malnati and the company.

Plans are underway for a full service restaurant in north Scottsdale - set to open in summer of 2018.. It will be Malnati’s second full service restaurant since they first opened in May of 2016 at Uptown Plaza in Phoenix.

The Scottsdale eatery will be located near Scottsdale Road off of Arizona State Route 101. The 10,000 square foot restaurant will be within the “Chauncey Lane” development by DBM Ventures – a 53,000-square-foot mixed-use project.

“We have been overwhelmed by the response this past year and are ready to expand so that we can serve more of our authentic deep dish to the people of Arizona,” says Marc Malnati. “We are looking forward to immersing ourselves in more local communities.”

The Scottsdale pizzeria, set to open in the summer of 2018, will be Malnati’s largest Arizona location to date, including a spacious outdoor patio area, with plans for a full bar along with carryout, delivery and catering services. The full design and other details are still in the works, however, Lou Malnati’s Scottsdale plans to hire more than 150 employees.

Don't forget the carry-out location in Phoenix in the Arcadia area will open this fall.

Malnati’s Phoenix District Manager Michael Sterner adds the good news that the delivery radius probably will be about three to four miles. Marc Malanti, Sterner and the Malnati’s team say they are looking forward to neighboring with Kitchen 56, an old gas station-turned-neighborhood eatery, with whom they will share the buiilding.

Stay tuned for more locations soon!
