How you can help his family.

The community is mourning the passing Gerard Mauvis who died in an accident last week. Gerard worked at the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess with General Manager Jack Miller and there's a Celebration of Life at 2 pm on October 6.

Gerard is survived by his wife Marlee, sons Will and Harrison, and daughter Demi.

“Gerard’s zest for life, his love of family and friends and his contributions to our resort, community and industry will be missed," says Jack Miller, General Manager of Fairmont Scottsdale Princess. "I personally feel a loss of partnership as he was so much a part what we have created over the past five years.   Although we are saddened, we have the deep joy of remembering his love of life and adventurous spirit.   Rest in peace, dear friend.”

“We continue together in prayer for the family of Gerard Mauvis,” says Brent Hodges, Superintendent of Scottsdale Christian Academy. “Among the many struggles his family is facing, is of course finances and education expenses. I know Marlee and his children are appreciative of everyone’s kindness and we hope this will help them get through this difficult time."

For those who knew the Mauvis family, or want to help here are two ways to donate.
